Well, friends, the tea leaves were being read in a major way this week, when Iowa’s FAMiLY Leadership Summit announced its keynote speaker for its 2022 conference is set to be none other than Mr. Why-Shouldn’t-I-Root-For-Russia himself, Tucker Carlson!
The summit, held annually in Iowa, is described (by FAMiLY, it should be noted) as “a chance for conservatives to be “encouraged, inspired, and equipped to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness in America today,” and has become something of proving ground for Republican presidential hopefuls. It’s the same event at which President-hopeful Trump famously quipped that John McCain wasn’t a war hero because he’d been captured.
